The Cayo Perico Heist is one of the best moneymakers in GTA Online, and that's due to the high values of the Primary and Secondary Targets. This article will include what a player can potentially earn from this job. Normal Mode and Hard Mode affect the Primary Targets, so a distinction between the two will be made below. It is worth noting that those who take damage can lose some of the value of the loot they've collected thus far. Most GTA Online players seeking to do a perfect run won't have to worry about that since being stealthy is far more efficient.

  • Madrazo Files: $1,100,000
  • Sinsimito Tequila: $900,000
  • Ruby Necklace: $1,000,000
  • Bearer Bonds: $1,100,000
  • Pink Diamond: $1,300,000
  • Panther Statue: $1,900,000

Hard Mode gives all these Primary Targets an extra 10% in terms of total value. The Madrazo Files aren't available since that item is only obtainable in the first run of The Cayo Perico Heist. Otherwise, here are the Hard Mode values:

Secondary Targets occupy various amounts of space in a player's loot bag. Here is the maximum amount of money you could earn if you had nothing but the Secondary Targets listed below:

  • 2x Artwork: $352,400~$399,400
  • 2.67x Weed: $389,280~$398,040
  • 2x Cocaine: $441,000~$450,000
  • 1.5x Gold: $492,876~$499,788

For reference, here is how much you could get from a single secondary target on the following list:

  • 1x Cash: $78,480~$89,420
  • 1x Artwork: $$176,200~$199,700
  • 1x Weed: $145,980~$149,265
  • 1x Cocaine: $220,500~$225,000
  • 1x Gold: $328,584~$333,192

Mixing and matching the above quantities for other amounts of money is possible.

Gamers should also know that the small cash bonus from El Rubio's office is an additional bonus of $50,000 to $99,000 that does not count toward the Loot Bag's space. Note that the above items are not mandatory to collect.

GTA Online players can just steal the Primary Target to finish the mission, although they would miss out on some much-appreciated extra money in doing so. The Cayo Perico Heist can easily make a person millions of dollars per run. Don't forget: One can do this activity solo or in groups of up to four players.

The only requirement to get started is to own a Kosatka, which costs $2,200,000 outside of rare event weeks that discount it.
