Bhatia is currently homeschooled but intends to forgo college and turn professional upon turning 18 years. He made his PGA Tour debut at the 2019 Valspar Championship on a sponsorship exemption; he did, however, miss the cut.

On 18 April 2019, he made his Web.com Tour debut at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail Championship, where he made the cut and finished T-42.
